Abu Dhabi: The Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO), in partnership with the Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK) and a multinational consortium led by Plenary Group and BESIX Group, has opened three modern schools in Zayed City, Abu Dhabi. This project is notable as it is the first time that school infrastructure in the UAE has been developed and delivered through a public-private partnership (PPP) model.
The Zayed City School PPP project is a flagship initiative designed to leverage private sector expertise in developing and managing state-of-the-art educational facilities, while ensuring accessibility to all students. These three newly opened schools are equipped with advanced technology, modern classrooms, and dedicated spaces for extracurricular activities, fostering holistic development for students.
