Abu Dhabi: The Abu Dhabi Civil Defense Authority (ADCDA) has been awarded Silver in the Excellence in Business Transformation category at the HR Excellence Awards 2024 in Singapore.
This recognition highlights ADCDA’s successful implementation of the T-SAT training initiative, aimed at advancing the skills and capabilities of civil defense personnel across all levels, reflecting the authority’s commitment to excellence in workforce development.
Changi General Hospital secured first place, while UPS Asia Group took third place in the HR Excellence Awards 2024.
His Excellency Brigadier Salem Abdullah bin Barak Al Dhaheri, Acting Director General of the Abu Dhabi Civil Defense Authority, said that, receiving this international award is a confirmation of its ongoing commitment to adopting the best international practices in human resources management and human capital development.
The award was received by the Director of the Resources and Support Services Centre at ADCDA, His Excellency Brigadier Suwaidan Saad bin Dhahia Al Ameri.
This recognition underscores the Authority’s dedication to delivering top-notch training programs and development initiatives designed to enhance the readiness and professionalism of its personnel. It aligns with the Abu Dhabi Government’s vision and objectives for achieving institutional excellence.
The HR Excellence Awards 2024, now in its 12th year and the largest yet, celebrated exceptional achievements in workplace well-being, women’s empowerment, HR innovation, and more.
A total of 113 awards were presented across 40 categories, showcasing innovative approaches to employee management and agile human capital strategies.
The awards recognize organizations that are setting new standards in HR best practices, covering areas such as talent acquisition, workforce engagement, leadership development, and employee retention.
