Abu Dhabi: The 62nd International Association of Women Police (IAWP) Annual Training Conference will take place in Abu Dhabi, at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC), from October 20–23, 2025, under the patronage of Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of the General Women’s Union, President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation, and Mother of the Nation.
The conference is expected to attract more than 3,000 participants, including 50 speakers from 120 countries.
The agenda will include workshops, panel discussions, a military march for policewomen, and youth activities. In addition, the exhibition held on the sidelines will bring together associations, companies, academic institutions, health centres, and leaders concerned with policewomen worldwide.

The event seeks to support and empower policewomen in the UAE to realise their professional goals, as well as give them an opportunity to learn about the best practises and experiences of leading policewomen from all over the world in sectors of security, social interaction, and technology.
Furthermore, the conference will help Abu Dhabi Police achieve its goals of investing in talent and human capital as well as enhancing the quality of the workplace environment. The efforts and achievements of national policewomen in maintaining security and peace in the UAE will be presented and shared with international delegations.
The hosting bid for the event was submitted by Abu Dhabi Police GHQ in collaboration with the Department of Culture and Tourism Abu Dhabi, the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, and the Emirates Women Police Association. Voting took place during the Annual Membership Meeting of the International Association of Women Police in Canada. The UAE won the votes of 70 countries to organise the 62nd IAWP Annual Training Conference for the first time in the Middle East.
