Abu Dhabi: Abu Dhabi Police and Environment Agency – Abu Dhabi (EAD) join forces to boost environmental protection and have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This collaboration aims to strengthen environmental protection and promote sustainability in line with the UAE’s Year of Sustainability.
The MoU was formalized by Major General Maktoum Ali Al Sharifi, Director-General of Abu Dhabi Police, and Dr. Shaikha Salem Al Dhaheri, Secretary-General of EAD, with senior officials from both organizations in attendance.
Major General Al Sharifi highlighted the importance of enhanced cooperation and coordination with various government bodies to meet strategic goals and future aspirations. Al Sharifi emphasized that the agreement will streamline efforts to improve environmental protection, ensure compliance with laws, and advance sustainability.
Dr. Shaikha Al Dhaheri underscored the significance of this partnership, noting that it aligns with the Abu Dhabi government’s directives for achieving environmental security and community prosperity. Al Dhaheri expressed pride in the collaborative approach, which underscores the critical role of the Abu Dhabi Police in enforcing environmental regulations.
