Abu Dhabi: Abu Dhabi Municipality has launched the 9th ‘Irtiqaa’ Award, fostering innovation and creativity among its employees. The Director-General of Abu Dhabi City Municipality, Saif Badr Al Qubaisi, has highlighted the important role played by the Municipality’s Internal Excellence Award, ‘Irtiqaa,’ to improve the quality of life and align with the aspirations of the Abu Dhabi community.
During the 8th cycle of ‘Irtiqaa,’ which was organized by the Strategic Planning and Performance Management Sector – Institutional Excellence Management, Al Qubaisi announced the launch of the award’s ninth cycle in a new and enhanced format.
This updated format reveals best practices and innovative efforts, contributing to an inspiring and distinguished workplace environment.
Omar Mohammed Al Shehhi, Acting Executive Director of the Strategic Planning and Performance Management Sector, noted that the ‘Irtiqaa’ Award is designed to elevate institutional performance, enhance work mechanisms, and prepare employees for participation in a range of excellence awards.
The award also motivates capacity building among employees, promoting best practices, and raising awareness about the importance of excellence, quality, and transparency.
