Abu Dhabi: H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the UAE, has met with Ruben Ramirez Lezcano, Paraguay’s Foreign Minister, in Abu Dhabi to discuss ways of enhancing bilateral relations and investigating new avenues for cooperation between the two nations.
The meeting centered on expanding areas of cooperation, including economic, trade, and investment opportunities. Sheikh Abdullah reaffirmed the UAE’s commitment to fostering a robust and mutually beneficial relationship with Paraguay, highlighting the importance of sustainable development for both countries.
Both leaders underscored the potential for increasing economic partnerships, which could include strengthening trade ties and boosting investments, with a particular stress on sectors where both nations could mutually benefit. The UAE, known for its significant role in global commerce and its strategic location, offers a gateway for Paraguay’s goods and services into the wider Middle Eastern market.
In addition to economic matters, regional and international issues of shared interest were also concerned during the meeting. Sheikh Abdullah and Paraguay’s Foreign Minister exchanged views on these issues, supporting the importance of diplomatic cooperation in addressing global challenges.
Reem bint Ebrahim Al Hashimy, Minister of State for International Cooperation, attended the meeting, which highlights the UAE’s ongoing efforts to bolster diplomatic relations and partnerships with countries across the world.
