Gaza: The 244th UAE aid convoy entered the Gaza Strip under Operation Chivalrous Knight 3, carrying supplies for the ‘Olive Children’ initiative, an effort dedicated to supporting Gaza’s orphans and providing for their essential needs. The convoy represents another step in the UAE’s ongoing humanitarian commitment to the Palestinian people.
The convoy included 22 trucks loaded with around 426 tons of relief supplies, consisting of children’s clothing kits, containing new clothes and essential items, as well as food parcels, rice, and shelter materials designed to support families across the Strip.
Ahmed Al Neyadi, Deputy Director of the UAE Humanitarian Aid Logistics Centre for Gaza in Al Arish, said that, “This convoy carries a special humanitarian significance because a large portion of it is dedicated to orphaned children in Gaza through the initiative. It includes parcels that contain new clothes and supplies for children.”
“Through the Operation Chivalrous Knight 3, we value this major humanitarian effort and hope that it contributes, even in a small way, to bringing joy and smiles to children’s hearts in these difficult circumstances,” Al Neyadi added.

The ‘Olive Children’ initiative was launched during last Ramadan by Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, wife of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, Chairperson of The Big Heart Foundation, and Eminent Advocate for Refugee Children at UNHCR, in collaboration with the Palestinian non-profit Taawon.
The program is designed to support more than 20,000 orphans in Gaza, ensuring their access to education, healthcare, psychological assistance, and necessities until they reach adulthood.
As part of the initiative, The Big Heart Foundation also introduced the ‘Clothing for the Olive Children’ campaign, which prepares boxed kits containing new clothing and essential items for children in Gaza, aiming to improve living conditions and bring comfort amid the current humanitarian crisis.
The campaign serves as a strong example of the UAE’s humanitarian solidarity with Gaza’s children. Implemented in cooperation with Operation Chivalrous Knight 3, aid boxes are prepared and delivered through the UAE-run logistics center in Al Arish, ensuring aid reaches its intended beneficiaries swiftly through an integrated field-based system.

This aid convoy is part of a broader series of humanitarian missions conducted under Operation Chivalrous Knight 3, established by the UAE to support the Palestinian people through a comprehensive air, sea, and land relief bridge. The initiative involves widespread participation from UAE humanitarian organizations, reflecting the UAE’s unwavering dedication to humanitarian principles that persist regardless of time or circumstance.
Al Neyadi highlighted that the operation extends the UAE’s long-standing humanitarian mission, which reflects the leadership and people’s steadfast position in supporting the Palestinian people. The Deputy Director emphasized that, “Operation Chivalrous Knight 3 continues its role in cooperation with UAE charitable and humanitarian organisations to provide support, aid, and relief to our people in Gaza through all available means and capabilities.”
Launched more than two years ago, the operation follows the directives of the UAE’s wise leadership and continues to provide food, medicine, shelter materials, healthcare services, and psychological and social support to Gaza’s population. A fully integrated logistics center has been established in Al Arish, run by the UAE’s humanitarian response team, to manage the coordination and dispatch of relief convoys on an ongoing basis.
To date, more than 100,000 tons of aid have been delivered through Operation Chivalrous Knight 3, reaffirming the UAE’s steadfast commitment to supporting the Palestinian people and easing their suffering through every possible means.
