Abu Dhabi: The 20th edition of the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship, a flagship event on the Rolex Series and an essential part of the DP World Tour playoffs, is set to be held at Yas Links Abu Dhabi from November 6 to 9, 2025.
Organized by the Abu Dhabi Sports Council (ADSC) in partnership with the DP World Tour, the tournament will welcome a star-studded lineup of the world’s top golfers.
This year’s championship will see the top 70 available players of the season compete in the fourth Rolex Series event of 2025, as the European Tour season nears its conclusion. With vital Race to Dubai points up for grabs, the event promises thrilling world-class golf action on Yas Island.
Leading the elite field is Rory McIlroy, the current Race to Dubai leader and a major champion this season. Joining him are Matt Fitzpatrick, the 2022 US Open winner; Tyrrell Hatton, the 2021 Abu Dhabi HSBC Champion and Ryder Cup star; Robert MacIntyre, Scotland’s rising sensation; Tommy Fleetwood, a two-time Abu Dhabi champion (2017 and 2018); and Shane Lowry, the 2019 Abu Dhabi and Open Championship winner.

Adding youthful energy to the roster are Ludvig Åberg and Rasmus Højgaard, two of Europe’s most promising young golfers, ensuring one of the most competitive fields in the tournament’s two-decade history.
His Excellency Aref Hamad Al Awani, General Secretary of the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, said that, “We take great pride in welcoming the world’s best golfers to Abu Dhabi. The 20th edition of Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship is more than a milestone; it is a reflection of our vision to advance sports development, promote sports tourism, and strengthen Abu Dhabi’s position as a global sporting destination. We look forward to delivering a world-class event that combines elite competition with family entertainment, in line with the ambitions of our leadership.”
Beyond the fairways, the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship will feature an engaging fan experience, including family-friendly activities, premium hospitality zones, and spectacular viewing areas around the iconic 18th hole. Enhanced global media coverage and dedicated fan zones will turn this 20th anniversary edition into a landmark celebration for golf enthusiasts worldwide.
